To be clear, this poor review is not about Bridget's guiding ability. She sold me one day of unguided access to the Fremont river near Torrey, UT. It had been raining on and off for the week before and I spoke with her several times beforehand about water clarity and "fishability." She assured me it would clear. It was not even close. Extremely muddy, visibility less that 2", with 35 years experience I tried every trick for 5 hours and nothing. When I texted her, the reply was "fish still feed in poor visibility." Call me old fashioned, but I think she should have offered a refund or another day of access. FYI, the same day I fished the Upper Fremont with 12" of visibility and did very well.

The best! Our lessons and guided fishing tour with Bridget far exceeded our expectations. We had such a great day on the mountain and caught a bunch of beautiful Colorado Cutthroat. Bridget is an exceptional teacher, guide, and just a great human. Very highly recommend. We'll be back for sure!

Such an amazing time!! Planned a whole 2 week trip around this fishing adventure and was not disappointed at all. Very professional, knowledgeable and such a fun time! Definitely recommend & will be back.

Fishing with Bridget at Chunky Trout Outfitters was my favorite trip of the year. I have always loved fishing, but never have touched a fly rod. I was a little nervous as I knew how much work it was. But day 1 Bridget had me catching fish within 15 minutes! She started slow, and was patient and a great teacher. So good in fact, she had my mom catching fish on the first river too! And my mom has never fished before! We stayed 2 nights, and fished 2 days, and we had 3 options of fishing holes. They all were such a fun and different experience! We stayed in the chunky bunkhouse, and it was perfect! You can not beat the views at her place. 10/10 will be going again. Very soon!! Bridget is a fantastic host, and an even better fishing guide. You wont regret your time here.
