Office of the Medical Examiner

The medical examiner lied to me about what was in my sons autopsy report. He said he had no sicknesses turns out he did. Covid, rhinovirus & rsv. Getting the medical examiner on the phone has been like pulling teeth. I drove an hour to get my sons autopsy report so I can read it since the medical examiner lied They also they dont have their current address updated so I had to go almost 40 mins out of my way to the complete wrong place then I finally get here and they say I need a check?? 1:40 min drive just to turn around and do it again tomorrow. Like are you serious??? The lady never told me that on the phone that I need a check the multiple times I spoke with her. Now I have to wait longer to get answers on what happened to my son because the medical examiner wont call back no matter how many messages I leave and the front office lady failed to tell me I need a cashiers check to pay for his autopsy report. They lied to me on multiple occasions and are running me in circles just to get the answers I DESERVE!!!

After seeking answers for a year I called. The person I spoke with was very patient with me. I would like to thank this person for that. For some reason after a few minutes I felt a peace come over me. I have let go now. Thank you for your patience.

Its a hard environment to always be around death, and horrible situations surrounding a persons death. However, the people that work here are caring, fun loving people. I have so much gratitude for what and how they do their jobs. Thank you for all your hard and at times unappreciated work. The governor and the legislature definitely needs to take better care of them.
