Went there because I needed a cavity filled (very clearly stated that over the phone). My appointment came up and was there for 2 hours and they did everything but fill my cavity. Tried this place once and wont be coming back. I will travel further for better service.

I have always had a terrible time at the dentist. Worked on without proper anesthetic etc. Ive also had some wonderful experiences. My uncle is a long time dentist and teacher at the U of U school of dentistry. Im well versed in the highs and lows of dental care. Im not sure abundant deserves a star. The staff was friendly, but their agenda is very apparent. Its clear to me they traded their Hippocratic oaths for profit long ago. A premolar that had become very painful over the previous week had become bad enough I was seeking relief from anywhere. I wanted to see if the tooth was salvageable (I 100% believe it was and I fell victim to the same tactics dozens of others have mentioned in their reviews) the staff took x-rays and the dentist looked very briefly and immediately launched into the extraction/implant song and dance. I had a total gastrectomy less than a year ago due to a genetic form of gastric cancer. Between the time off work and medical bills Im financially strapped. My only option was to have the tooth extracted outright for 350.00. Bone graft etc. is extra. This process was brutal. The points on both sides of the tooth are pulverized, and there are sharp bits of bone protruding through my gums. They are still there as I write this. I havent been able to eat other than a few bites when I had pain relief enough to tolerate it. Ive lost 100 lbs since my surgery and I struggle to maintain my weight. The prospect of being in too much pain to eat is a scary thing. I have in fact lost at least 10lbs over my week of agony. Im going to go to the dental school where their priorities are straight. Perfect their craft and provide care to their patients in a measured diplomatic way. Abundant is far more interested in the dollars in your account than caring for anyone they cant make a buck on. Avoid avoid avoid! Ps. Id like my X-rays so I can have them reviewed by an unaffiliated dentist.

I havent been to the dentist in a while because my last experience wasnt great and with my anxiety I couldnt convince myself to go. I thought Id chipped a tooth so I doomed an appointment and I loved it! It honestly felt like they were all my friend and cared! They talked about my life, work, etc. The dentist was super thorough and made sure I knew what the x-rays showed and even gave me a pop quiz at the end to make sure I could still recognize things! He gave me suggested to help with my dental hygiene since my neurodivergent brains struggles with that!
