        Had an initial meeting with provider, but when i asked about cost and they suggested i can go to a pay-day loan service for more money. I immediately decided i didn't want to work with a provider/institution that would suggest such an action. I was then sent bills for 3 years when i had no balance due. Look for a better place to have a bariatric sugary!

        Dr. Cottam and his team have been such great advocates for my health & well being. Im extremely pleased with my entire experience with BMI. They took such good care of me! Im now a week post op and happier than Ive been in a looong time. Thank you Dr. Cottam and the BMI Institute

        Both my wife and i had Dr Cottom preform the DS and have done really good. They have been great with any questions we have and working with Insurance.

        The customer service is negligent, the operators are incompetent, I was on a call with a girl and I had racist treatment from her because of my English pronunciation, not only that but when I was looking for information to give her in the middle of the call she hung up. In addition, they do not offer you in-person appointments and they still want to charge you $250 for a telephone consultation. I do not recommend this site if the treatment is like this at the beginning

      Cody I do not believe this is true. Our providers and staff know what options are available to patients and we would never suggest a pay day loan. Patients do get loans but they are provided specifically for medical procedures and by a lender that provides medical specific loans based on credit. The patients that get loans usually do so because their insurance does not cover weight loss surgery.

      Hi Eva I am so sorry if this happened to you. Please contact the office and request the manager to report this. I have been here for 11 years and have never heard of anything related to Race. I find it hard to believe any of the staff would treat anyone as you described. Also we bill insurance for the consultation with a surgeon. The self pay rate for this consultation is $200 not $250. We have thousands of happy patients with great surgical outcomes. I am unable to verify that you are a patient of ours under this name.
