Este Pizzeria - Downtown

This store is awesome. We order late food all the time, and they remembered us after our food got stolen by our GrubHub driver, and left us a nice note on our next order.

As a born and raised NY native, I'm always going to be on the hunt for pizza that comes even close to what I grew up with. Este has been the closest I've come since moving to SLC last summer. I do find the slices a bit overpriced, but long gone are the days where I could walk into any pizza joint with a $5 in my pocket and leave with 2 slices and a soda. That'll set you back $10 here.

I have been going to Este for years. Between downtown and the old Sugar House location, it was one of the best pizzerias in Utah. Now that the owners have split up the locations, its quality has gone downhill fast. Then they got rid of the Italian Flag pizza and its like.why even keep going there other than the occasional quick slice. Theres just not a lot of care or passion for the business like it seemed to have.
