I set up an account and paid. It took us a while to get our paperwork done so our agent put our account on hold. Now I have our paperwork ready to go, I tried contacting my agent 3 times and she will not get back to me. I asked for a refund and all I got was silence. I'm very disappointed with paycom, and would appreciate a call back, and a refund!! Thank you! Christy

Customer service continually declines, changes in software breaks our specialized set up. Reports are totally inadequate and extremely difficult. Has a few nice features but the negatives definitely out weigh any good.

3 years ago we started using Paycom. The implementation was long but well worth it! I found a lot of solutions that I couldn't find elsewhere. Over the past year, the quality and attention to detail in their software has started to decline. When they change one thing, other features deteriorate causing small things that normally work to breakdown. I had an incredible Account Rep who could help me at the turn of a dime and readily available to. That too is no longer the case, I have an been assigned a new account rep that does not understand the software or how it works. He needs time to ask someone else and more often than not he doesn't have a solution within a timely manner ( I am used to a 24 hour turn around time frame on more challenging issues). Paycom used to be the gold standard but their growth has compromised their quality. To give examples of small tasks that seem to be lacking... A performance action form no longer allows you to change a position title, only a department. ( I suspect it's a development glitch), when an employee transfers departments you need to manually remove the schedule they are assigned otherwise they are locked into that schedule in their new department, their open enrollment is based upon a Q4 open enrollment only so if you renew your benefits outside of Q4 you are essentially undergoing two open enrollments each year and carrier EDI connections as well ( a nightmare for benefit invoice auditing), setting up benefits on your own is a nightmare... so many intricacies... but to have a benefit specialist help me I was quoted $6k ( varies upon how many benefit plans you have) to help me set them up and that's an annual cost if I want to continue using a benefit specialist each open enrollment. These are just a few examples but they become thorns over time. They boast the money saved in HR "manual changes" being put onto employees but the true HR that isn't being tracked by their system is actually being spent contacting them to solve really small things that haven't been an issue in the past 3 years. Honest opinion... Paycom truly was outstanding when I first implemented it, the quality has just recently become disappointing. Hoping they figure out a solution soon because they have the potential to be the #1 in the industry. Paycom fan who is slowly losing hope.
