I had a lot of medical things blocking me from becoming a pilot and she solved all of them. The staff is super nice and Doctor Sugerman cares about you and your goals.

I was worried when I heard I had to get a neuropsych exam for the FAA. I read tons of online reviews and online threads on what was required and this made me nervous to say the least. After working with Dr. Sugerman all my worries disappeared as she insured I knew all the information needed to pass the FAA exams with flying colors. All of the staff at the Steinmann Institute are stellar. They made the process seamless and easy to work with. If you are searching to get a neuropsych exam, Steinmann Institute is the best place to go.

After a comprehensive assessment, Dr. Sugerman took the time to reach out and discuss the findings presented in her report point by point. She was genuinely engaged, listened well and answered all our questions.

This is advice for pilots seeking a medical with ADHD, because this place is pretty much your only option. As a short preface-review: The staff here are incredibly friendly in person. On paper, they will do the bare minimum. Read this advice to handle that. 1) The staff aren't going to screw you over, but they're not your allies (despite the cost). Treat them like the FAA: do your own research, find what they fulfill, and double-check EVERYTHING. Discrepancies WILL be met with accusations of lying. 2) Collect your medical history yourself instead of having it x-ferred here directly. Do not include what isn't necessary. 3) Bring a list of questions about what to expect. When you arrive, make sure they are ALL answered. You won't get another chance. 4) If they give you a timeline, do not trust it. Expect this process to take several months. 5) If they need any further documentation after your visit, DO NOT use email-- it will get lost or ignored for weeks. Bring it in-person. 6) After your in-person visits, expect their tone to change. They will be snappy on the phone. They will promise callbacks that never happen. They will blame their own delays on the FAA. 6.5) Ignore all of this, and call every 1-2 weeks anyway if you want ANYTHING to move forward. 7) They will lie about when they've transferred your records. Call the MedXpress number and doublecheck any claims. 8) If you receive relevant mail from the FAA, it will include a "PI number". This identifies your case. KEEP IT, as Steinmann lost mine.

She will make your dream come true as she did with mine, there is no words or actions I can show the team to thank them a lot. Very talented and dedicated professionals. They will get the job done well.
