Denied donation because a shelter is not recognized as a residence

Walked into the screening both limping. And the lady asks if I was okay. I told her yes have a gout flare up( a form of arthritis) in my foot that was almost gone and got deferred. She said I couldnt donate because I was in pain. So your telling me if I stub my toe I cant donate because my toe hurts. I googled and googled and nowhere did it say anything about not being able to donate due to a gout flare up that is on almost over. I will definitely be moving centers in the next little while.

I have donated at this center quite a bit and it's always been a pleasant experience. The website is easy to use to schedule an appointment at this location. I usually go in the morning at 7am, and after the kiosk I'm usually seen right away. I think the only time I had to sit in the waiting area was during the very first donation, and that was just because you have to do some paperwork and get a physical. It's always been a relatively speedy process, the staff that I've met are all great, and your payment is deposited into your card usually within an hour of completion. I've been to other centers before, and this one by far has been the best in terms of everything! Plus they have quite a few bonuses a few times each month. They also text additional bonuses to you if you opt in to receive messages.
