I was helped by a woman named Joy at this location in slc. She provided me with excellent service, she helped me resolve an issue on my account, and she sold me a great quality case for a reasonable price. I was very grateful and I will definitely return to this location again for anything regarding my cricket account from this day forward.

When I walked into cricket wireless I didn't have a phone. I was there to ask questions in preparation for getting a phone. I walked out of the store after asking my questions and had to go back it felt right. I became a happy Cricket wireless customer. They were wonderful my total out of pocket cost for a new cellphone and my first month service plan was under $15 yes fifteen dollars. My continued monthly plan is $25 talk & text unlimited with 15 GB of hotspot for my home devices. I'm impressed with the price of everything and the service is actually great. Can't do better for the price.

My bf went into a cricket store and paid $15 reactivation charge + $60 for 2 months of service to have his phone service turned back on after less than 30 days of it being turned off. He was also charged a $5 in person customer service charge, is that what they pay their customer service people and not an hourly wage, otherwise why? Anyway, $80 total and then he left and tried to use the phone but he still didn't have service, He went back in and was told by the same person that helped him only moments before that he would have to pay a $45 bill payment to have his phone turned back on. He assumed she meant that he had missed a payment somewhere, not realizing that a past due amount would never occur because Cricket is pay as you go and just shuts off service rather than have the account go into arrears, so he didn't even question it, and he just paid again and left. Later, I saw the receipts, one for $80 that just said bill pay after the charge and another for $45 that showed a $15 reactivation fee and the $30 for a month of service, so I questioned it, but he didn't know why, so I researched Cricket's website for fees and couldn't find anywhere that they would charge $80 for anything. At the time, I didn't know that he had paid for 2 months of service with his original $80 that he paid, and the $45 was the second charge. We went back to the store and presented both receipts to a different person at the store while the original customer service person was at another comouter within earshot of the entire conversation which included his name and phone number. While the new person was trying to figure it all out on the computer and gaslighting us by saying stuff like "well there is a reactivation fee you know" and looking at the receipts extra hard and long pretending to look for any sign that we were trying to pull something on them, the original gal suddenly started typing furiously on her computer. When I didn't just go away when the gaslighting didn't work and asked her to try again, the gal we were working with acted all put out and dramatically looked in the computer again but this time there just so happened to now be a $45 credit on the account that wasn't there before. Hmmm, I wonder how that happened. We will see how this all plays out over the next 30-60 days. I will post an update then. In the meantime, beware, there is a possible scam going on at this store.
