Arnold, Wadsworth & Coggins

Where I thought things were hopeless for single Dads to be full custodians in Utah. Brian and Jennifer guided me through the correct process. Divorce with young children is not and easy road to navigate. I will be forever grateful to you from the bottom of my heart.

I wrote a review a few months ago and it apparently has been removed. I consulted with Deven Coggins regarding my potential divorce. It took a lot of courage to finally go see a lawyer. Coggins was nice, but I felt I didn't matter at all. He spent most of the time talking about his troubles with the IRS. I felt he lacked empathy-and this was a consultation in which a wise attorney would be doing what he could to gain a client. I did not retain Coggins. My advice to others: listen to your gut. If something's off, it probably isn't a good fit.

I needed an attorney for divorce decree modification. Lauren Schultz was the best! She exceeded every expectation we had. Lauren knew exactly what to do and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

About 5 years ago, I consulted with Coggins about my impending divorce. He had a very glib affect, talking mostly about himself and about his troubles with the IRS. After asking some basic questions, he plopped down a stack of papers for me to complete and shoveled me out the door. I left feeling more overwhelmed than when I arrived. I felt I had no idea what was going to happen next which indicates that his communication insufficient at best. As general life advice: listen to your gut during an attorney consultation. In my situation, Coggins had a very strong presence and I had to remind myself that I am interviewing him, not the other way around. Be sure to meet with several attorneys so you can find the right fit and don't settle for just anyone. I did not retain him because he was not the right fit for me and I have no regrets about that choice.
