The Pros: The apartments are just the right size for a person to live comfortably. Two might be a bit cramped, but still manageable. Each one features a full kitchen, including an oven, microwave and dishwasher. The facilities in the building are nice, with a workout room and multiple public areas to hang out. Although the laundry machines are paid, they're available on every floor, so there's no need to wander far to get things clean. The building is also right next to the train station, so it's easy to get to anywhere you need to go. The Cons: Parking requires paying for a pass. These passes are very limited, as the parking lot itself is a single row of around 15 stalls. If you have a car, you'll probably need to park it elsewhere. The basic Wi-Fi package is also abysmally slow, maxing out at around 2 mbps, and the upgrade options are quite expensive. But the biggest issue I've run into is noise. The windows have barely any soundproofing, so you'll be hearing cars, motorcycles and fire trucks roaring along at all hours of the day and night if you're on the side of the building facing the main road. There is a fan in the bathroom which is constantly running and cannot be turned off. The water heater also emits a loud buzzing noise at seemingly random intervals--something which I pointed out while first moving in, and was reassured would not keep happening. If you have noise sensitivities or do any work involving recording, this might not be the place for you. In summary, it's a nice and affordable place to live, but comes with some minor inconveniences. Update: Knocked off another star because the parking situation has gotten worse, and there has been a string of thefts in the building. I parked outside of the building briefly so that I could carry a bunch of Christmas gifts up to my apartment instead of carrying them from the parking lot a ways away--where I'm forced to park because of the aforementioned parking limitations--in the middle of the night. I didn't want to risk leaving anything unattended because I had a delivery stolen from INSIDE of the building a few days before. I was in there for less than seven minutes (I timed it) and when I returned my car had been towed. I've been trying to get a parking permit since the day I moved in, and have checked with management multiple times to see if one was available with no success. If an establishment cannot guarantee a safe parking location for their tenants, they have no business enforcing such a strict towing policy.
