The Highland at Sugar House

Emily and her boss Kiera did so great! They both worked with me to get me set up in an arrangement that works for me and helped me get out of a dangerous, unsafe environment. Its so amazing that there are still great human beings out there in this world!

The Highland is a quaint place in a nice neighborhood. The location allows easy access to shopping and restaurants, as well as great local schools. Move in process for us was a bit rough, but that was the result of a recent management change the complex underwent. Management was fair about the process and compensated me accordingly for my inconvenience. My one complaint would be that the apartments are renovated cheaply. Theres several layers of paint all over everything. If the complex had put more effort into renovating correctly, I would have given five stars.

My boyfriend and I have been living at Highland East for the past 7 months and we are thrilled with our choice to rent here! Everyone on staff is fantastic and have been more than helpful. Every interaction Ive had with the property manager Elyce has been so friendly! She responds to emails quickly and goes above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness here. Thank you Elyce!! The apartments are located in a beautiful part of Sugar House, right next to the elementary school so theres tennis and basketball courts basically on site. We love to go on walks, theres lots of pretty houses to look at and so many flowers. And we love Blue Plate Diner which is right up the block- as well as a gas station, Chinese restaurant, and a grocery store all within walking distance, a Walmart up the road, Sugar House park 2 minutes away AND a bus stop right down the street. Plus they just brought those electric scooters to this part of town. I could go on forever about the location, its the best. Some of our favorite things about the apartment- we get lots of light, all of the appliances work, plenty of hot water, the layout is awesome for being such a cozy unit. The way it is spaced out makes it feel so much bigger than 600 square foot. All of our stuff fits perfectly, and the price is perfect for us young folk, especially for the location!! I also have 2 cats and they love it here, lots of room for running! The laundry room provided on site is great, it is well maintained and always clean. 99% of the time I take my laundry up, the machines are open and ready to be used and I love that I use an app on my phone to work them. It notifies me when my laundry is almost done so I can run errands without risk of forgetting. And I dont have to deal with quarters because I can load funds onto the app. Not to mention all of the delicious restaurants nearby! I think I ordered delivery from 30 different restaurants so far lol! This has been a wonderful experience for us and we are really enjoying our stay here! We both highly recommended this apartment complex!!
