I had an overall great experience with A.B Richards Professionals. Some things that stick out during my experience: 1. Responsive and on-time. Great at communication. 2. Ability to fix interior and exterior gas fireplace issues 3. Fair price and transparent financial process 4. Service was friendly and the quality of work was spot on (fixed major leak and my fireplace looks bran new after cleaning - good at what they do). Bartholomew and his wife went out of their way to squeeze me in on short notice. They were very thorough and took the time to educate me about my fireplace and explain the work performed. A.B. Richards was suggested to me by another chimney cleaning company due to their time constraints. My husband and I were more than satisfied by Bart and his wife's service and expertise. They were here at the time we agreed on and took extra care to protect all household furnishing before they began cleaning our chimney. It had not been cleaned in a number of years so it was filled with soot and creosote. Pictures were taken before and after and the difference was amazing. Not only are Bart and his wife very professional, but my husband and I found them to be caring and wonderful to work with. They explained the pricing if there was going to be any additional charges. They (primarily meaning the wife in this two-person team) cleaned a chimney flue on one of my properties. I assume they did an acceptable job. But for a variety of reasons I wasn't comfortable with this company, so I got two opinions for a second chimney flue. A.B. Richards told me this next flue was an extreme fire hazard because it was so dirty. The other chimney sweep told me the flue was "clean as a whistle" even though it wasn't in his interest to say so.
