My dog was having some GI issues and our regular vet could not get her in. I didnt want to wait so I brought her in right at 10am with no appointment to Lava Rock. I was seen immediately. I felt the assessment of her condition was appropriate and the treatment plan. I wasnt pushed to run unnecessary tests etc. She had what appeared to be a simple issue and was given a simple treatment plan. Unfortunately the next day my cat became suddenly ill and again my regular vet could not get us in same day. So off to lava rock we went and again I had no appointment, showed up at 10 and was seen right away. Dr. Murdoch offered the options of testing. Etc but ultimately was fine with prescribing medication for what we suspected the issue to be. Unfortunately my cat did not improve and I took her back where we decided to run blood work and truly figure out what was going on with my angel, 16 year old cat. She prescribed an antibiotic more powerful and my cat has improved and seemed to kick this infection. I was so thankful for Lava rock what are you to do if your vet cant get you in same day?! The exam price is $110 but its well worth it to be seen IMMEDIATELY and be in an out in an hour. I would recommend their office to anyone in need of urgent care. The office is very clean and everyone is friendly. Thanks again.

The best experience I have had at an Emergency Vet since moving to St. George. Dr. Murdock and her staff were knowledgeable and kind. I definitely will return if needed.

We were traveling through and our elderly dog (Pittie) had a pinched nerve in her neck. They worked us right in and were so kind and wonderful. We had three more days of traveling, and it really saved us! She was in horrible pain. Dr Murdock explained all the side effects from the meds that could happen and was very gentle and caring. We cant thank them enough!!

Absolutely amazing!! Walk in clean and very friendly! Very down to earth Absolutely wonderful people. Called and got in the same day, no fuss. And affordable, which is important.
