I bought a 2016 Acura and the day after the paint started peeling. Went back and they had lots of excuses and claimed it was the original paint. When I took it to reputable body shops they said it was a quick and dirty paint job to quickly hide damage. The dealer gave me a car fax that said the car had never been in an accident. The body shops disputed that and mechanics who looked at front end damage also said it had been in an accident. When my wife went back a second time to ask them to make it right they were very nasty to her. Blaming it on a car wash is just another lame excuse. The paint chipping started before we did any car wash. Plus two credible body shops said someone had done a quick cover up paint job over some damage. But we realize as we were reminded over and over by the people there afterwards, the cars they sell come with no warranty. So, buyer beware once you drive it off the lot you are stuck with whatever they dont tell you about. Heres another thing about this dealer: about a week after the purchase I received an email from a manager asking me to call him if I couldnt give them a review of 5. I did call, and I was told he doesnt take calls. I told them my story and they said they would send it to marketing. Never got any response.
