Dennis Tyler - Fairway Ind. Mortgage

We've now bought 6 houses and working with Dennis was the worst experience. What should have been a more simple process for a primary home was made extremely difficult and very stressful. We started out with a jumbo loan but due to missing our close deadline we had to switch to a conventional loan. Obviously this was costly for us as it meant a lot more of a down payment. We also almost lost 5-figures worth of non-refundable earnest money because we didn't hit the close deadline. Thankfully the seller worked with us to grant an extension. But the process was head ache after head ache. Even in the extension we almost didn't close by not getting our taxes in. We had another Fairway Mortgage broker from out of state assist to get that item. I was also nine-months pregnant at the time and had to deal with the stress of Dennis with a newborn. I would never work with Dennis again nor would I even recommend him to anyone. I have since worked with several fantastic brokers who are prompt and close within three weeks. Working with Dennis still brings bad memories.
