Diane Flatens Piano Lessons

My oldest began taking lessons with Diane over 5 years ago as a beginner. My 2 youngest children also take piano lessons with Diane. Since we have been with her, Diane has done an excellent job keeping the lessons challenging and fun. My children like that she has patience and that she chooses music that they enjoy playing. I also appreciate Diane's willingness to reschedule a lesson. When friends ask for recommendations, I also tell them about Diane. They have all been pleased with her.

When my daughter's piano teacher moved out of the city, our neighbor recommend Diane to us. My daughter has made so much progress since starting lessons with Mrs. Flaten! I love how Diane makes sure to assign songs that my daughter can't wait to get home and play. She also puts an emphasis on music theory along with musicality. There are also many performance/competition opportunities if students choose to participate. All in all, we couldn't be happier!

Diane has over 30 years of experience in teaching piano classes. She also has 10 years of experience teaching in public schools. She is extremely dedicated to her students musical learning. Each student has two recitals a year plus many local festival opportunities. She teaches all styles of music including classical, jazz, pop, rock, seasonal, patriotic and worship. She comes high recommended!
