I was very pleased with My Buddy the Plumber. Robert, the technician who drove all the way down from Ogden to our place in Provo, arrived at exactly the time promised and was so pleasant. He did exactly what I wanted: he provided a temporary fix for our outdoor antifreeze faucet that made a terrible, loud, vibrating noise every time we turned the faucet on. We had two identical faucets -- and simply exchanging the stem between them solved the vibration problem. Being a DIY-er, I wanted to save money by completing the repair later by myself, which I was able to do for both faucets. I would gladly recommend My Buddy for plumbing repairs! Sigh, super frustrated with the communication of My Buddy. I called yesterday and they set an appointment for today from 12-3:00. I told them I wont be home until 1:00 and they said they would make a note. I also asked if theyd text me since I would be at work until 12:30. This is the start of the communication breakdown. Today around 11:30 I got several calls while I was working. After I didnt pick up (again I was at work) I got a text at 11:34 that said a tech is on his way and it asked if I was available. I said no Im at work they were supposed to make a note of that. Can they come by later? They then responded and said sorry but the tech is going to move on. I could call back and they could reschedule me. So I called to ask if they could come out when I got home. I said Id be home around 1:00, and they put me on hold for a bit and came back to say they could come out the next day between 2-5:00. This only added to my frustration. When I set up the appointment yesterday, they said they couldnt possibly guarantee that the tech would come out after 1:00, but they said theyd make a note. That was the only window they had. Then I got several calls even though I asked if they would text since I would be working, and then after I responded with the same thing I told them yesterday, they said they had already moved on as if it was my fault. When I called to see if they could still come out today, they gave me a window of 2-5:00 the next day. Honestly, they should have just offered that to begin with since they knew I couldnt be home until 1:00 anyway. I dont know why they offered me a time that they couldnt accommodate, even after saying they would make a note and that they would try to work with that schedule and go to lunch then or something. I just really wish businesses would underpromise and overdeliver more, and not the other way around. Super bummed about the communication here. Even though they seemed fine and have decent reviews, I dont trust that theyll take care of my HVAC needs because they cant even take care of my scheduling needs. Perhaps the issue is with me as it seems I only write negative Google reviews, but I also only review things when I feel strongly about something, and I feel strongly that they could have handled this better.

My Buddy the Plumber is awesome. We had a water line to our apartment building break during construction in the parking lot. My Buddy the Plumber came promptly after we called them and explained the situation. They gave us a very reasonable priced quote within an hour or two of visiting the site. They were able to come the next day and said they would have the water back on so the tenants wouldnt have to go without water for very long, when other companies told us wed be out of water for a week or more. Really good plumbing company that we will definitely use again in the future. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Great place! Holland was amazing! He came and fixed our furnace very quickly and was super kind! Highly recommend!
