      image I had a stay planned for 7/17/2024. I live in FL. I am at the VA in Cleveland where my Father went into hospice care and we are all with him. I couldnt possibly leave.It could be any day that he passes away. Other hotels accommodated this situation and were respecting and kind and concerned. I have a letter too from hospice care but no one requested a copy. Even airlines and rental car refunded us. The woman who answered the phone at Sleep Inn was unkind, unsympathetic and just said something like no we dont do that. Needed to share. She was very unkind.
      I received the response below from the manager. He is 100% incorrect. The 3rd party reached out to all other accommodations and they respected and refunded us.
      This 3rd party also reached out to Sleep Inn and they were even rude to them. Sad place! The 3rd party said in this circumstance they 100% respect my situation and requested a refund but to no avail. Shame on your lack of sympathy.
      My Dad is still here with us. Were here with him in hospice care for 2 weeks now. Have some time in my hands to do this.
      If you refund my money I can delete this post as long as you arent dishonest about 3rd parties in the future and have your front desk woman learn to be a little more compassionate.

      image Overlook the tricky directions off the interstate from both directions (we stayed here both directions of a longer trip), the cold indoor pool water temps, and my forgetting to get a bathtub in room and this is a great value stay for the money. The staff is top notch and welcoming, they keep the breakfast area clean and stocked like clockwork, and the facility is cozy by comfortable.

      image Older motel. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. There was a hole in the carpet inside the room near the door. The hole measured about 6 inches in diameter. This should be repaired.
