Symbii Home Health and Hospice

Nurses do not show up or call. They call to tell you when they will be by but no one comes. I had hip replacement and developed a pulmonary embolism and then infection in my hip. I do not feel like I should have to babysit them and call them to see where they are. How hard is it to text or call.

The two nurses and the wonderful young ladies that helped my mother bathe were absolutely wonderful. They were angels. Their goal was to keep my mother comfortable and giver her information so she could make decisions for herself. They also talked to me about situations and helped me understand what was happening as time went on. I will never forget how much my mother loved these wonderful ladies.

We had an excellent experience with Symbii. Lyndsey, our nurse, became a trusted friend--always compassionate and careful. We appreciated her competence as she dressed the leg wounds on each visit. When we needed some extra help at night on two occasions, Leesa, the on-call nurse was quick to give helpful advice and even came to our house to help when needed. My husband also was blessed by the massage therapist, Kami. Her gentle massages were relaxing and the highlight of his day. The OnSite people were wonderful--such expertise and care from Jeff, Lara, and Brittney. Now, as the time for end-of-life advice has arrived, Carol, from Circle After Care, has stepped right in to help maneuver all the legal requirements.

We went with Symbii Hospice for both of my parents in their last days. The nurses we worked with acted as advocates for my parents, making sure they had things in place to make them more happy and comfortable. When my mom needed to be in a care center, our Symbii nurse advocated for even such small things like a big clock with a date to help with my mom's confusion. The CNA went the extra step to make sure my mom could get a desired hair washing while bed-bound. They were always available by phone or text, and were wonderful! Symbii Hospice nurses are the BEST!
