I hired Thomas to do drywall, paint, flooring and baseboards. He is very meticulous which made the timing extend past what I thought it would take, but the quality was worth it. We even dropped a change in plans to have LVP planks put up on one of our walls. He added it to the project and did very well getting it up and straight. It looks awesome. Where to start We had Thomas booked for multiple jobs but the first he was working on was drywall install for our basement we are finishing. He kept asking if he could finish the whole basement, we told him multiple times we ha da friend helping us and we only needed him to do the drywall. Over the first 2 days, he kept making comments about the work not being very good. I assured him that we had an inspector here and a licensed contractor and again we only needed him for the drywall. Then he started talking about how the plumbing vent was done incorrectly. I already had my buddy the plumber out to work on it/inspect it all. I assured him that we were confident with the work. He then said he wouldnt keep working unless we let him cut the plumbing and add an air vent I told him no. He argued with me over and over saying Ill regret not valuing his opinion. I told him to move on, and that if he didnt feel comfortable working in the bathroom, just drywall the other bedrooms. The next morning he sends me a text saying he wont finish the project. He then goes on to say it actually has nothing to do with the plumbing argument, that he prayed and just didnt feel good. So he literally left our job after 3 days with that excuse. And after 3 days of working down there all day, he had 1/8th of the ceiling drywall done and had touched nothing else. Save yourself a huge headache and hire someone else!!
