Things I loved about Berg Mortuary:
1. They've been in business forever and they act like it matters to stay in business forever.
2. Their place is an historic building with great ambience.
3. They really know what they're doing. All of them do.
4. They suit their mood to yours. If you're grieving, they're kind. If you're relieved, they understand. If you make a joke, they laugh. If you're in shock and hardly know what you're doing, they help. If you have questions, they have the answers.
5. No matter what decisions you make, they support you 100% and your morale goes up that you're not making any mistakes at an important time.
6. Also, if you request something "different," they make it happen.
7. They give out very cool calendars for free.
8. They follow up afterwards.

My experience at Berg Mortuary was as good as it possibly could be. Randy and the rest of the entire staff were kind, patient, understanding and as accommodating as humanly possible in my time of grief. They completely understood that while I had tough decisions to make, I was going through an emotional turmoil. They were suggestive without being pushy and sensitive to my needs. Losing a spouse is hard. They made it far easier. I would strongly recommend their services to anyone and truly appreciate them for their help.
