Dena gives AMAZING haircuts. Thats why my friends come here. She spent almost an hour on my hair. Plus the student cuts for $10 cant be beat for the quality. If you care about your hair, come here. On top of that, she is one of the coolest people around!!

The owner Veronica does a really good job. I have been going to her for over a year now and I am always impressed by her super friendliness and the really good job she does.

My sister went to Starzz for a haircut. While getting her hair cut, she asked the cosmetologist if the color she had mixed was right, because it looked purplish blue. The cosmetologist assured her that it was the right color. While my sister was getting her hair cut, the technician next to her station kept looking horrified at her hair. When my sister finally saw it, her hair was completely ruined, and not what she had asked for. She told the cosmetologist that she didn't trust her to touch her hair again, then as she was leaving, the cosmetologist had the audacity to request payment after screwing up her hair, a payment of $85! My sister, being a young college student, paid, and immediately went to another salon to try to salvage her hair. After having found out about the situation, we've been trying to get in contact with the owner for over a week, who hasn't returned or answered any calls. When calling the salon, the cosmetologist who was responsible for the refused to give a refund, or to give her license number so that we can file a complaint with the licensing agency. We've called back twice more to the salon, and they refuse to give us any information at all. This is the pinnacle of horrible customer service. Do not allow a business like this to survive.
