I'm an attorney in Prescott, Arizona. I referred a client that lived in Utah to Robert Avery for a criminal misdemeanor defense matter involving allegations of domestic violence. Mr. Avery did a wonderful job. He was available by cell phone to speak with and to answer questions. I found his fee to be reasonable for the work performed. He obtained a result that, in my opinion, was an excellent result given the factual circumstances of the charges against our mutual client. It's not often that I find local counsel for my clients that is compassionate and willing to be patient and answer the questions that my clients have. Hutch Fale agreed to take my case, but wouldn't do any work on it! He wouldn't take my calls or my e-mails, even though he was my lawyer! I pretty much had to do his job for him. I had to find out on my own what paperwork needed to be done and how to do it. My case took 3 months longer than it should have, just because he wouldn't do any work. I don't understand how he can in good conscience agree to take a case if he had no intention of doing any work on it? How can he feel good about calling himself a lawyer if he doesn't do any work for his clients? Won't call them back or answer their e-mails? I feel like I should send him a bill for all the work I had to do that he should have been doing all along. Only hire Hutch Fale if you want absolutely nothing done on your case.
