Horrible, degrading, judgemental pharmacist. Im talking about the older gentleman whom treats anyone with a controlled script as a drug addict. It was UNREAL the way he both spoke to me as I advocated for my sister (Im a nurse and used to also be a pharmacy tech) and the way they spoke to her when they judged her as a junkie because of her missing teeth and tattoos. (And no, she doesnt use meth. Our entire family actually has a genetic enamel disorder that destroys our teeth very very young). She is on an antidepressant and an another med that while is controlled is not an opiate and has very little abuse potential so for them to refuse to fill her prescriptions just because. Was insane, this wasn't even close to being an early fill in fact it was day 33 after she had last picked up a 28 day supply. His reasoning was the last time she picked it up at day 26(remember only a 28 day supply) so if you add from that time we are still early and wont fill it for another 5 days! For anyone who cant math like me sometimes, he was saying that because she received the last script 2 days early (which is very legal and normal in Utah you can actually fill at 80% which would have been day 24 in this scenario and remember it is actually day 26 when she arrives. She literally only filled it because she was going on vacation for 2 weeks and most pharmacys wont accept transfers for controls from out of state for a patient they dont already know so she would have been SOl) We even offered proof of her plain ticket when they gave trouble the first time upon filling it. But to still say its too early for her next fill at day 33 when there is only 28 pills in the script makes no sense. Even using his own logic she technically would have had 2 pills left if she had tried to fill the next refill on day 28 exactly. But no, she waited 5, yes FIVE more days to even try and fill it so ran out as she should have 3 days prior . Taking them exactly as prescribed. This pharmacist still insisted he would fill her antidepressant but not the sleeping medication for another FIVE days. There was absolutely no legal or ethical justification for this. It was pure discrimination and will be reported. Im asking every patient who has been discriminated against like this to report to who ever you can. We ended up calling her doctor back and she called and transferred it the pharmacy who filled with no issues.

Used to be great...what happened? I kept going to this pharmacy even after I moved (used to be fast, helpful, friendly), but for the last year or so: -Phone pharmacy system gives a "ready no later than" time--and even going 2+ hours later, the response is always "give us 20 minutes." Usually after having waited in line for 20-30 already. What is the point of the phone system if it is completely inaccurate? -No pre-notification of out of stock prescriptions, until you've waited the 20+ minutes; it's a "here's half of your prescription, the rest will be x days later." I don't know if it's a staffing issue, or what (I know it's hard being understaffed), but you're losing customers.
