Great, Great, Great! Really knows her stuff. Fast, courteous, professional I made a mistake on a form for taxes. IRS sent me a hair raising letter. So I called Holly. She had me send everything to her, and the next day, she called, said "I know what it is. Here is how we fix it." She followed up with what to expect, and to contact her, if anything came in different than expected. In all of that, her pricing is also very fair. After this, I think I'm going to shelve the tax software, and just go to her. I don't have enough hair left to handle any more letters from the IRS.

One of the most unprofessional people ive ever worked with. during our time working with her, there were many items like which states we earned income in, what kind of financial events occurred, etc. that would cause her to claim thats more work it just got more expensive. I wouldnt have minded that, but these specifics were then never documented, apparently, as we specifically had to remind her 3-4 times of the states we earned income in. After lots of back and forth, we uploaded our documents well in advance expecting that she would review and speak with us. This was continually pushed off until the week of the tax deadline. When I realized I forgot a single non-material document, she then tried to claim that we hadnt uploaded our documents and that was why we couldnt file on time. The Friday before the tax deadline, we got into a heated argument over the phone and she freaked out, claimed I was yelling at her (my voice was raised as i was incredibly confused and frustrated as the deadline was the next business day), and then fired us as clients leaving us without support for the filing. My wife (I stayed home) went to their office later that afternoon to speak to them to try resolve the conflict - they would not open the doors for her. Overall, taxes are complicated and you need to be able to trust and rely on the professionalism and reason of a CPA. I absolutely would not recommend working with Holly Carlin.
