Saddens me to leave this here but when youre served a fish that literally reeks of rot theres no excuse. As a local I frequent this place, or I should now say, use to frequent this place but the fact that an entire kitchen staff allowed a rotten fish to make it on to a plate and then the waitress brought it to me is absolutely inexcusable. In a situation like this I wouldve expected nothing short of what can we do to make this right and ensure you dont let this stop you from dining here again but this is where management failed miserably. Ive never been so disgusted in my life and I have literally worked as a commercial fisherman and seen some of the foulest things an ocean has to offer.

********Menu was not very big and food is okay but for the price you pay for it the value is a little off. I think $10 for fries and $30 for a salad is a bit high for what you get. But hey you do get to use a cloth napkin while paying this price point.

As a gluten-free diner I was not impressed. Thought the food was okay, overpriced, and gluten-free labels were not completely accurate. My husband and I ate at Hearth and Hill on Monday 4/1 because of the impressive ratings on the app "Find Me Gluten Free." . We ordered the Elote Queso Dip as one of our appetizers. We confirmed with our server that all the items I ordered were gluten-free. When another server brought out our appetizers, I asked her to confirm for me that the chips were made in the gluten-free fryer. I was shocked when she came back and told me they were not. I'm so glad I waited to start eating til she came back. This could have ruined our entire vacation because we ate here on our first day in Park City. Even though it may not seem significant, but that small bit of cross-contamination can make me sick for 2 days. The manager was sympathetic and came over as well to apologize and offer a side of the beer-battered cauliflower to see if it would go with the dip. It didn't at all, but I did at least appreciate the offer. But unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy the dip because it didn't work with the cauliflower and we accidentally dropped part of a chip in the dip so I could no longer eat it. I was hoping the staff would see that we barely touched it and take it off the bill, but they didn't and I was in no mood to give anyone a hard time about it by the end of the night. Truffle Mac Gluten-Free was undercooked and crunchy in some bites. Re-fuel salad had way too much going on (beets, apples, sweet potato, and rice). To me, this restaurant was not worth the $20 Uber from downtown Park City.
