    I visited Tony Dovino Toyota for the first, and likely last, time today. I set an appointment for 9:30AM, only to find out upon arrival that having an appointment does NOT mean that they have a bay or trained mechanic for your requested service available at that time. Just that you're in queue. I waited over 4 hours with an "appointment" to have my battery replaced (over 1.5 hours) and figured since I was already here, I'd opt to approve the recommended transmission fluid change. Since they were already working on my vehicle, I figured surely it couldn't take that much longer. I was wrong. It took over 2.5 more hours for them to complete the transmission fluid exchange. I don't think I've ever had to wait so long for service on my vehicle to be completed when I had an appointment. There are other Toyota dealerships in the area and I think I'll be going to them for any future needs.

    I had a service done on brakes. A week or two after I started getting squeaking from the car. I called multiple times, left multiple messages and never once was a call returned. For whatever reason I can't talk to anyone. I have to leave messages. Finally, I said I'm just going to come down and you'll have to address it with me in person. I was told don't come down, we are too busy. Horrible customer service. Zero stars. Update: My understanding is that Toyota is using some kind of answering service which really doesn't help matters. My voice mails were being sent to someone who doesn't work there anymore. Not sure why they couldn't look that up and send me to someone else. The car does finally appear to be fixed. But it wasn't without further Drama. They had the car overnight. They couldn't reproduce the issue. Which I found bizarre. My wife and son went to pick up the car and as they were backing up the car to leave, it immediately made the noise. They stopped what they were doing and grabbed someone in service to listen. There was some discussion as to where the noise was coming from, and they initially didn't believe it was coming from where they did their service. But when they took it in the shop, they did finally agree that the issue was coming from the brakes they had serviced. Whatever they did does appear to have fixed the issue and I do appreciate that. That being said, I won't be back, not even for an oil change.
