If you go to a place with a receipt to do a return, the computer will do what is right & fair I.E. If you paid with a gift card, it returns to a gift card. If you dont have a recepit then its automatic gift card. Every place is like that, not just my employer & really its done as a courtesy as alot of people are dishonest & will SAY they just bought it yesturday.....however without proof could be untrue. We still take care of them but have no way to give cash back without proof of cash purchase. That is called life. Must be a scandalous business if they dont understand something so simple!! Very untrustworthy to say the least!! Dont trust them, as they try to do dishonest returns then get butt- hurt if you dont let them scanadalize you & your hard- working company.
