McKay-Dee Porter Family Practice

Dr. Hutchinson is very thorough. She listens and takes time to offer suggestions. She calls the pharmacist to consult on the best medication options. She prepares for your visit before it happens. She remembers more about our last visit than I do. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes in the waiting room. Sometimes scheduling appointments can be tricky since it is a teaching clinic and Dr. H works with the residents in addition to her own patient load. I’m very satisfied.

Don't see doctor hatch. Whatever you do don't. She's a lazy and rude and a careless provider. On my last appointment she was extremeley annoyed. She didn't listen to me at all. Then I went to go schedule an appointment with a specialist and I go back to the room only to find she went to lunch. I had a few questions to ask her. I was like really?? Then she was supposed to call me when she got the info she needed from ogden regional. I waited for two weeks before I decided to call her. She called me back and told me that the clinic told her to call me. I told her that she was supposed to call me back with the info she got from thr hospital. Then I asked her what I should do and this was how it went. Me: What do I do now? Hatch: just take the medicine Me:ok. How long do I take it for Hatch:just keep taking the medicine Me: ok. I understand that. But how long do I take medicine for? Hatch: just keep taking the medicine Me: for how long Hatch: until end of February. Me: should I Do a follow up appointment or no. Hatch: your fine to keep taking the medicine She has no professionalism at all. Look at part of the conversation I had with her. If you want a doctor who could care less about you. Won't call you back. Has no clue what's going on. Has a attitude and is annoyed. Dr. Hatch is the doctor for you. I'm so glade I have a different care provider.

Leaving a review here since I think only the complainers are posting. I'm 48 years old and have been a patient of the Porter Family Practice for about 7 years and have received some of the best healthcare I've ever received. The practice is a teaching practice led by Dr. Madsen (my physician) and one other. Dr. Madsen is incredibly thorough, consistent and kind. I often show up with sticky notes of 6 or 8 things I want to cover and he's patient and gracious to cover every question I have in great detail. He's open minded, treats me like an individual, and we work together to make the right decisions for my health.

I have had some good doctors here I've also had doctors that I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy here.y doctor currently here though is great! He has great bedside manor and actually cares about my health and mental health. It is however almost impossible to get a hold of the office..
