UPDATED 2/14/24: This complex is now under NEW MANAGEMENT! This is a VERY good thing, as the former management ran the place into the ground. In fact, it appears the owners themselves have taken over management of the property so you can be sure they actually care how it is run. The following review was written a few days before we learned of the change. I have great hope for the new management and believe they will resolve the problems that have developed here over the past few years. We have really enjoyed living here and wanted to stay but could no longer trust the management. Trust matters. UPDATED 2/11/24: Eaglewood Lofts WAS a good community in a great location with lots of amenities. Alas, the entire complex has gone downhill in the 2.5 years we lived here. Everything wrong can be traced back to management. PROS: *Close to all the freeways and to both downtown Salt Lake and Woods Cross/Bountiful. *Maintenance has been prompt and super helpful every time we need them. *The third-floor loft ceilings are lovely. *The trail up the mountain to the east is a good little hike. *Some really cool waterbirds at the pond. *Parking spaces are fairly wide. *Dwelo smart-home system is nice and works well. *Noise from neighbors is NOT a problem. *Lots of cute dogs. CONS: *Totally unprofessional management. They are the cause of nearly everything wrong here. *Staff are nice but took FIVE MONTHS to print out a new lease and when they finally did it was for higher terms than the offer they made and we had accepted all those months before. You literally have one job, folks. *Online payment & maintenance portal suddenly shut down Feb 2024 and all residents told rent can only be paid in-person by cashiers check. That 5-months-late lease appeared hours before the system went down (over a weekend) and office staff sent panicky messages insisting we must sign immediately even though they were unavailable to explain the change in terms. *Package room door is perpetually broken and completely insecure, since 2021. Tenants dont register for the locker system so delivery services leave packages all over the floor. Twice we saw boxes of meat that spoiled and leaked. *Gate locks for pool area and gym stopped working and were padlocked, fall 2023. Gym became unusable outside of office hours. *Hallways are open to the weather, thieves, and wildlife. All spring/summer, swallows nest on the fire system sprinklerheads, leaving bird poop all over the walls and floors. (Office response: Its illegal to kill the birds! as if that might be a solution.) In winter its colder in the hallways than outside. *Buildings are not secure so nothing is safe. We and neighbors had door decor stolen, Dec 2023. Another neighbor told us the storage she rented here was burglarized, summer/fall 2023. *Third-floor hallways in building C were power-washed in Oct 2021, then never again. Office staff seemed to think we made it up, but theres literally piles of 2-year-old bird poop on the floors. Also: gang graffiti in the stairwells and hallways. *Building C has roaches. No matter how clean you are, they come meandering through. *Garden plots LOOK nice but deer eat everything. It needs 8-foot fences. *Quality of tenants has plummeted. Blame goes to management who rent to thugs. Fortunately we all survived the horrific early-morning shootout! (Google: September 2023 North Salt Lake apartment shooting.) *Maintenance can't keep up with tenants who abuse the pools, which the health dept shut down repeatedly in 2023. *Every blade of grass is unsafe because: dogs. Sidewalks and bushes also (!?) thanks to people who cannot clean up after their pets. I was attacked/bitten by a dog but that was the irresponsible owners fault (see: quality of tenants). *Tenants are told to clean the community grills after using, which of course they dont. *There are no elevators so you cant have disabled friends/family visit.

STAY AWAY!!! Highly overpriced, poor property maintenance, THEFT - OVER $1,000 in packages stolen and the property management hasnt been helpful at all because they arent liable for my packages being stolen.
