The work done on our behalf by Tom and Jennifer was not professional. Both of these individuals were dishonest is telling us they do great work on behalf of veterans. There was a lengthy process in reviewing the credit situation and I was told an approval was guaranteed as long as I remained under the lending limit. After entering into a contract on a house my realtor submitted all the paper work to American Financial and we waited for the disclosure documents. After several calls and inquires I was told my current credit situation would not permit me to receive a loan through the underwriter despite the reassurance I was given during the application process. No apology was offered and as a proud veteran who served this country proudly I feel disrespected by a company that says they take of veterans. I would recommend any veteran look to a different company or at least work with people other than Tom and Jennifer when seeking a VA loan with this company.
