Bamboo Insurance

This is worst insurance company I ever dealt with. I have a leak in my house and it's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard from my adjuster. When I first made the claim, the adjuster was already hinting how my claim may not be covered even before he knew the cause. Soon after their leak detection guy found the leak, which obviously is covered, I haven't heard from him. No communication at all. No email, no texts, no calls. NOTHING. My daily calls and voicemails go unanswered. For those that are happy that they found an affordable insurance company, wait till you make a claim..bewarned.

I had an outstanding experience with Bamboo Insurance. My Agent, Kyle Deka was incredibly knowledgeable and super efficient with responses to all of my questions and concerns. But the best part was they quoted me a price that was almost half of what my previous insurance company was charging me, and it was for the same exact coverage and deductible amounts. I would highly recommend Bamboo Insurance!

Great insurance rep, went above and beyond to help us get setup with our insurance. Very communicative and knowledgeable. Hope to never file a claim but feel like I would be in good hands if I did.

My wall in the laundry room was bulging out, in which, a contractor noticed while giving me a quote for ideas on home renovations. He and another contractor recommended that I contact my insurance company because it looks like water from the rain may be causing the problem. I filed a claim with Bamboo insurance in December 2023. The day of my telephone interview with Bamboo's adjuster, they didn't call to cancel, but sent an email saying the adjuster went home ill. I waited over 2 hours! I then received a call the next day, out the blue! A statement was taken. I waited and waited for weeks before they sent out 2 different inspectors. One noticed a lot of moisture and mildew odor. He took pictures, etc. Then a month later another inspector came. He climbed on my deck banister and took a picture with his cell phone of an area of where the water leakage maybe coming into the laundry room. Then about a month later I received an email saying a roofing company inspected the roof. No roofing company ever came out to inspect the roof. However, the roofing company supposedly used the cell phone picture to determine where the damage maybe coming from. Well, I received a telephone call from the adjuster last week informing me the claim has been denied and the roof has wear and tear and poor workmanship. I'm going to contact the Department of Insurance and have a roofing company come inspect the roof. A contractor is also scheduled to come out and tear up the wall to see actually what is going on. Bamboo insurance NEVER tore up the wall or actually informed me what was going on. I'm so confused, frustrated and disappointed that I've waited over 4 months with the damage of the rain coming through the wall and the mildew odor. My brother and I was inherited the house from our Mom who passed away in September 2023. I will be cancelling our homeowner's insurance with Bamboo very soon. I should have had my Mom's insurance broker research this insurance company before recommending this UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY!
