Sad/Mad, Zero Stars- I wish was that person you hear on the radio advertisement Happy Crying , on how Jordan Wilcox (JW) helped them with their Tax problems, but Im sad crying. We lost Thousands of dollars to JW. We were audited in 2017 and have been filing our taxes wrong for years, thus, we have been in a Federal and State Tax situation since. We were assigned to a young man at JW. It started off pretty good, good communication with us and the IRS. We (my wife and I) started to find errors with our state case. We would notify our JW rep and the state would reply with, your clients are wrong. We started getting personal emails from the state and wed forward them to our JW Rep. After fighting this back and forth with the state, where we felt like we done as much work as JW, we received notice from JW, that theyre job is done and they have closed our case??? Apparently, when you sign papers for JW to represent you, its only for 12 months!! This was during Covid, things were slower and I guess we paid the price, thousands $$$$, $4,000. We were on our own. We then filled an Abatement with the state, had a hearing with a judge and the state attorney. Judge heard our argument about the errors WE (not JW) found in our case. Judge ruled in our favor. We paid the state only what we owed, the fees and penalties were waved. We did that without JW. Now, were repeating ourselves with the federal taxes. Dont waste your hard earned money with Jordan Wilcox, my wife and I called them Jordan Will Take Your Money Cox

Years ago we were unfortunately had to contact this office - when Covid hit they treated us unfairly - I see they are advertising again - dont waste your money! We spent $4000 dollars to help us with Federal issues. We wasted that money with Jordan Wilcox office and are situation did not change. They do not know how to manage there time with your hard earned income- We resolved our issue with the state of Utah ourselves- They made the situation worse. You can resolved these things on your own without paying attorneys fees - -They are not effectively efficient- they promise you the world but because of Covid our money got wasted - because they were in a hurray! They handled our case incorrectly. - Were still paying on the borrowed 4000 dollars- just made our last payment- Dont pay them any big lump sum of money - they promise to finish our case and they never did - - it doesnt cost 4000 dollars to write and abatement up! - My hubby and I still wish we had taken the money and put it towards our taxes owed! Dont waste your money The fact you cannot take responsibility for your actions and dishonesty is sickening- your response is inaccurate with your behavior and dishonestly to help those in need. You did not full fill your honorable contract and you were driven by the almighty dollar and took advantage of the whole situation with using an inexperience individual, as though they had no schooling in their career or Tax issues. You looked us in the eyes and we felt you could help us and made promises you did not keep! Those who are seeking to get relief from their tax situation- My advice to you is do not use this office- They cannot help you and Dont waste 4000 dollars or any more - Find someone with extreme experience to help you fill out your paper work and pay them by the job- This office is not effectively efficient for your situation- They make excuses!!! For Covid crisis read the law! Stop making excuses for your actions and you take advantage of those who pay you upfront - People go find help elsewhere!!!! Stop advertising lies!!

Brenda,We value all feedback, even when it's challenging to hear. To effectively represent our clients, cooperation is essential. Throughout our engagement, we encountered resistance and a refusal to acknowledge the authorities involved, which limited our ability to navigate the process optimally. We understand that navigating tax matters can be complex and demanding, but our ability to secure favorable outcomes relies heavily on the information and cooperation provided by the client. Despite the obstacles, we worked diligently to secure the best possible outcome given the circumstances. However, it's important to acknowledge that without full cooperation, achieving an ideal resolution becomes increasingly difficult. We genuinely wanted to achieve a more favorable outcome, and had we received greater cooperation, we believe it could have been possible. Further, your contract with our office was valid for 12 months. We held the case open for 2.5 years in an effort to satisfy your expectations, and to gain the necessary cooperation to come to resolution. We held your case open at no additional charge to you. It saddens us to hear that you're dissatisfied with the outcome. We strive to be advocates for our clients, navigating challenges on their behalf. However, when faced with resistance and a lack of cooperation, our ability to effectively advocate is compromised.Your feedback is valuable to us, as it helps us understand areas where we can improve our services. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns and remain committed to providing the best possible representation for our clients.

Mike, we understand your disappointment and regret that our efforts didn't meet your expectations. Collaborating effectively on a case is crucial, and having a comprehensive paper trail or client cooperation greatly aids in achieving success.Despite the limited information provided, we managed to secure a tentative agreement from the appeals officer to reduce your liability by over $100,000, but because your return was a jointly filed return, it was necessary to have your spouse sign the agreement. You refused to cooperate with us any further on the matter, and the offer from the IRS was revoked due to inaction. We recognize that this outcome fell short of your desired outcome, but in order for us to be successful in our efforts it is necessary for you to help us help you by giving your full cooperation on the matter. It was at this time that you also refused to make any further payments under the contract resulting in an untimely termination of our representation. When you initially engaged our services, you had already submitted a request for relief to the IRS, which was rejected. We promptly appealed on your behalf and committed to revitalizing your case posture. In the event of an unsuccessful appeal, we pledged to start anew, demonstrating our dedication to your cause. Regrettably, your decision to terminate our representation hindered our ability to fulfill these commitments due to the challenges in reconstructing the necessary record. While the outcome of your case was unfortunate, it was influenced by the circumstances surrounding our collaboration. Our aim is always to be staunch advocates for our clients during their most challenging financial battles. We were disappointed that the opportunity to continue fighting on your behalf was cut short, as we never wish to find ourselves at odds with those we represent. We wish you the best of luck in dealing with your IRS tax problem.Respectfully,Jordan F.
