Jamie Matthews. She is the entire reason this place is still standing.
I have only been to this location two times, and she is my care provider for this location.
Every. Single. Time.
I walk out those doors with all the weight of the entire world that I have been carrying, gone. She listens intently to every single word that I have to say, like a child memorized by their parent's past. She gives advice like an old friend that has seen and been through it all. She accepts you for the person you are and carries no judgment. Every time that I have spoken with her she has never once watched the clock and I find myself apologizing for taking so much more of her time than intended. Do you know what she says about it? "It's no problem. I enjoyed talking with you."
The one reason I would choose to go back to the location every single time. Jamie Matthews makes every place she visits feel like home. You have taken the struggles of a tired man and given him purpose. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
