Surprisingly good food in a small gas station. The Barbacoa Burrito had plenty of flavor and the spicy red sauce really cut through the fattiness of the meat. I generally hate rice and beans in my burritos but there rice and beans actually added to the flavor instead of masking the meat. Pleasantly surprised by the meal as I tend to hate the "Costa Vida" style of service and prepared food. The only knock is the small oven that can only heat one at a time makes the wait in line painfully long if there is a crowd. Waited almost 30 minutes to place my order.

I'm so glad they opened a Jose's Cafe in Fairview Utah. If you're heading to Skyline Drive for a little R&R and need some great food, you need to stop at Jose's. The sweet pork burrito is exceptional, but the Tacos won't disappoint . For some small town good food, dont miss it. Jose's Cafe is never too busy, and the service is excellent. Jose's is located in the Mehars gas station where you will find everything thing you forgot to pack for your trip.
