Over the Top Events

I loved working with Alex and Heidi for my daughters wedding! I was overwhelmed just thinking about planning a wedding and not only did they make it simple on my end they made it absolutely AMAZING! Every vendor they suggested was perfect! And every vendor told me how much they love working with Alex and Heidi. Even when hiccups came up (which they always do) Alex took care of them and helped to not feel stressed or worried. Her calming demeanor and efficient work style made her a dream to work with. The flowers Heidi put together were stunning!! She took a picture of one bouquet we gave here and created a flower design that blew away our expectations. I wouldn't change a thing about the wedding and that is thanks to Alex and Heidi!!

My daughter was engaged in February before Covid hit. I'm a pretty organized person and felt like I could pull off a decent wedding. But then Covid changed everything and things were being cancelled left and right. I hired Alex and Heidi to help me navigate the nightmare of planning a wedding during the pandemic. But in hindsight, pandemic or no, I never could have pulled off the wedding of my daughters' dreams without this dynamic duo. Alex took our ideas and elevated them. And once Heidi was on board, I never looked back. She created a very detailed plan with photos and pricing so we knew exactly what we were getting and everything EXCEEDED our expectations. I never once worried about the flowers. Heidi even made a game time decision to change a focal point arch that better suited our venue and it ended up saving us quite a bit of money. And I can't say enough about Alex. She is calm, organized, thorough and well connected. She's also a great therapist! She helped me navigate some difficult situations with grace and class. With Alex' expertise, I was able to enjoy every minute of the wedding day without worry or stress. She handled every detail, big or small. I felt like she listened carefully to our vision and then went to work executing it and improving on our ideas. She was supportive and kind, because let's face it...weddings are stressful (especially during a pandemic). I happened to need some emergency surgery just two weeks before my daughters wedding. But we didn't miss a beat with Alex at the helm. I lay on the couch recuperating and Alex jumped right in to make sure all the bases were covered. She even graciously accompanied my daughter for her first look photos. I can't tell you what it meant to me to have her go the extra mile for us. And I know she would do the same for any of her clients. Honestly, the best money I spent on the wedding was in hiring Over the Top as our wedding planner and florist. I would do it again and again and again.

I was so impressed with this florist. She even helped us setup our tables and chairs which was not in her job description. She provided the prettiest candle sticks and gold holders that completed the table look. She was on time to the venue and came afterwards to pickup everything. If you are looking for a florist, look no more and go with over the top events. They are amazing, so nice and organized!
