Curt's Carwash & Emission

Swung by to get my emissions done, told them that I only wanted that done since I have other business to handle at the DMV, and also I have an exemption so I shouldnt be charged for registration. They charged me for both, couldnt refund me, and said to go to the DMV and they could refund me. Went to the DMV right after, and they said they couldnt refund me because the payment take 24 hours to post. Told me to go back to the emissions place and they should be able to give me a refund. Went back to emissions place, still unable to refund me. Now I have hoops to jump through with the state, when the whole mess could have been prevented if the associate at the front had attention to detail and remembered not to renew my registration as I asked. Edit to reply to the business owned: unacceptable that you are pointing the blame at me when the first thing I said to the employee at the front desk was that I did not want to renew my registration. He didnt tell me what he was charging my card for the second time, he only told me what the total was. One of my first times doing emissions here, so for all I know it was emissions related. He didnt tell me what it was for, just the total. Should I have asked why he was charging my card again? Sure thats a fair argument. But the first thing I told the employee was that I ONLY needed emissions and would be handling the registration at the DMV. I cant see what hes doing behind the computer. Thats Customer Service 101 - clearly communicate exactly what the customer is being charged for. Also I went to the DMV yesterday right after your employee told me to and they said they couldnt refund me, that your business could. So I called the County Clerk and tried to see what to do. Now I have to drive to the state capital to handle this with the County Clerk in person because I have an exemption and need to be refunded in person. Listen Im a reasonable person, but to get the finger pointed at me as a customer when I clearly communicated my expectations right from the beginning is just crazy.

Awful. I bought a used car and went to get the emissions done on it. They then offererd to do the registration on it as well. In the end they ended up registering the car under the previous owners name instead of mine. They would not give me a refund for this $100 error.

Went to Draper and the internet was down so couldnt do the emissions test. Drive to Sandy and the car wash was broken. Got the emissions done thank heavens. Overall very good deal. Hopefully things go smoother next time.

Prepaid emission testing is only $28 and no extra $10 for the tab as well here. However, I paid $39 plus $10 for the tab at another place by 700 e and 10600 s last several years. Also I got a free car wash. You should come here to renew your car registration. I highly recommend this place.
