J2 homes built a house for my mom and it has been problem after problem ever since. Starting off with the move in day, the interior paint was so bad it had to be redone.......was there no inspection before letting the owner of the house see the shoty workmanship? The ground around the home has been sinking ever since causing multiple structural problems. It has even caused a few water lines to burst. This house has been a nightmare for years and there are dozens of other problems that a "new" home should never have. I feel so bad for my elderly mother having to deal with this because literally everytime its a poor construction issue that should have never been an issue in the first place.

Scot Jones with J2 Homes built our dream home in 2016. I cannot give him enough credit for the work he did. From start to finish he was spot on with the details. His budget was accurate. His customer service was the best I have seen in the construction industry. (I am also a general contractor.) When it came to the quality, Scot personally inspected everything along the way to make sure nothing was amiss and went beyond what a normal city home inspector would look for. This is the personal quality you only get from an experienced home builder. All the big name builders cycle through employees who come and go without making this a career, as Scot has, therefore they don't know what to look for. To keep costs down the big name home builders cut everything out of the project that makes house truly one of a kind and offer "custom upgrades" that are so standard that every house in the subdivision has them. Not so with Scot. Working with Scot was easy and enjoyable. He listened to what would make our house a dream home, and made it happen. Through his experience he was able to suggest solutions and avoid costly pitfalls. J2 homes built us a true custom home that meets our needs and desires. After 5 years in the home, I can tell you it is beautiful, solid, and we absolutely love it. I recommend Scot every chance I get. If I were to every build again, it would only be with Scot Jones and J2 Homes.

Scot Jones was highly recommended to us by friends when we were trying to find a contractor for an extensive renovation of our main floor. We now happily recommend him to anyone who is in the process of building or renovating. Scot's honesty and integrity are beyond reproach--what you see is what you get with Scot. He is very experienced and knowledgeable and was very careful and patient in how he moved through the building process. He definitely wants to get things right and won't compromise on the final outcome. He is also open to new ideas and was willing to work with our ideas and plans that stretched the scope of the project. This was especially true considering our project was a renovation, and Scot was forced to work with what we started with. I'm sure it would have been easier for him to start from scratch to get us what we wanted! But he did it, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the end results! Scot had a wonderful team to work with, including his son, Parker, who is very hard-working and dependable. The subcontractors were great to work with as well. One last point--Scot's communication is excellent, and he is punctual and thoughtful of the homeowner's schedule. This was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend Scot Jones and J2 Homes!

Wouldnt build with anyone else. They truly are the best of the best for quality, integrity and experience.
