Grateful Angler Fly & Lure Shop/Guide Service

I recently went on a guided fishing float on the Guadalupe river with Andy from the Grateful Angler. Ive had 5 other guides on the river and none compared to Andy. He was insightful and a pleasure to hang out with, and I learned more about trout fishing than the other guides combined. Id also recommend highly a visit to the Grateful Angler in Wimberley. Spent the morning on the water with my boy and Captain Paul and it was awesome! Our first time and we were going in 10 minutes of instructions. Hooked one in the first 3 minutes. Paul put us on the fish, explained the river system and history, kept us laughing, having fun, and taught us many skills and lessons to carry on in life. Felt like we were on the water with the fun uncle. We later stopped by his shop downtown and it was the best spot. When talking with locals around town about going fishing with Paul everyone said how awesome he is. We will be back and booking with Grateful Angler!

This Shop understands fishing. Please go there , have a look around . You may only come away with a sticker, but you may find the best lure / hat/ line / conversation / utensils /you ever had.

Awesome little shop right in the heart of Wimberly, TX! Very cool vibe and free beer on Saturdays! Only stopped in for a few minutes to get some intel on where to find the big Lupe trout and I believe I got what I stopped in for. Ended up getting a sticker or two as well.
