We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Weatherford for my nieces wedding and one of the rooms I rented was over the drive through for the hotel. When she entered the room at check in, the window was open and there were construction workers outside of window working. She closed the window which did not have a frame or caulking. Notified the front desk and they covered the window with a blanket. When she returned from rehearsal dinner it was 56* in the room. The next morning she left at 7am. I received a voicemail from the hotel at 3:23 Saturday while we were at the wedding letting us know they would move her to a different room. We did not return from the wedding until after 10:30 that night. They had placed a heater in the room and when she woke up Sunday morning it was 83* in the room. When I checked out on Sunday I wanted to clarify that I was told Friday night that they would comp the room because of all the issues. I was only compensated for Friday night because they said I could have moved rooms Saturday and I would need to speak to the manager who was not in that day. I called Monday morning and again I was told he wasn't in and he had my information and would call me that afternoon. I have yet to hear from him and my card was charged for the unacceptable room. Not to mention there was only one way in and out of the hotel because of construction. The door by the swimming pool.
