Had me and my three friends portraits done as a surprise on a girls weekend. Matt was very personable, professional and made the whole process truly fun for all of us! Our portraits turned out awesome and Id recommend to anyone.

Ive wanted a tintype for a few years and am so thankful Matt came to Austin for my first (and second) photograph! Im super camera shy, but they calmed me down instantly by explaining the process. So thankful they are keeping this art form alive. The final glass plate is beautiful and captures so much more depth than any other photograph. I will continue to snag a tintype from Matt anytime they are around to build my collection. Thank you!

Matt is a rare breed. A combination of true artisan & a genuinely decent & good human being, who is equally as passionate about his craft as he is the quality of both the product presented to his customers, and the positive experience they have during the process. He isn't one to simply set-up shop, focus on the money he can make, and herd clients thru without a passing thought of their time spent coming to see him/choosing his services and art - no, Matt truly considers, with empathy, heart, and attention to detail, each and every encounter with each and every customer and their experience/outcome. Not often will you find someone who puts as much thought, heart, and soul into their work; caring about his own quality as much as yours. Matt is that one-of-a-kind type. Plus, he's funny and cool as all h*ll! Count yourself lucky if you already know him. If not, do yourselves a favor and get acquainted with this man and his art, you'll thank me.
