Great breakfast and attentive staff, excellent gym. What the room lacked in new paint and low sink water pressure, the staff made up for 100-fold. The lobby is beautiful and the breakfast buffet was really great. Cynthia who sets up and maintains the breakfast bar was so kind to my family and attentive to all guests. She brought my daughter some coloring pages and crayons and she helped keep an eye on my aging mother who would wonder outside from time to time. I had great experience speaking to staff to confirm the reservation, and at check-in. We will return again when we are in town again! Rooms: Maybe we got a bad room because the hotel was fully booked for eclipse weekend but the paint was run down, the towel rack had been knocked down and patched up shabbily, the sink water pressure was really low but the shower pressure was great! Bed and pillows were comfortable. Safety: Seemed a quiet and safe area to walk around in day or night. Noteworthy details: The gym has an elliptical, 2 treadmills, many new-looking weights, a gym stand with new TRX straps (yay!) and thick ropes. It was nice and cool with good towels. The pool looked like the water has been in there forever with bubbles floating on top and the bathroom in the pool room did not have a lock.
