Do yourself a favour and avoid making business with Cantu Racing. I bought a used crankshaft, pistons and rods from Orlando Cantu which came out of a customers car. We agreed on that the parts are undamaged and fully functional. However the crankshaft which I received had noticable scoring on the 4th and 5th main bearing surface. I had to bring it to a machine shop to get the scoring polished out before it could be installed. Orlando is refusing to partially refund me what I had to pay to get the crankshaft fixed. According to him the crankshaft can be installed with the scoring present, which is a complete joke. Furthermore the pistons which I received, arrived totally smashed up (especially the skirts of the pistons) because they were packaged very badly. Therefore all of the pistons are unusable and the bin is the only place where they can go into. There was no padding between the pistons or on the sides, only on top of them. Moreover a super thin cardboard box was used to ship the pistons. Orlando is claiming that he used the UPS packaging service and that it wasnt him who packaged the pistons. However he failed to produce any evidence whatsoever for this although I asked him several times for it. I asked for a very conservative partial refund of $317 but he is not willing to comply. He is making a very unprofessional impression regarding this matter, avoid his business at all cost.
