Inn of Uvalde

We stayed here for 2 nights during Eclipse 2024. The room price was 4 times the normal price for this time!!! What a country

Booked and prepaid a year ago. Was told the motel was being renovated and that we would be put into a "new" room. Our room was newly re-done as promised, check in was easy, and the staff friendly. We are enjoying the outdoor area near the pool, its very pleasant. I wish the owners well as they work to complete their renovation work.

Ask to see the room you will be staying in before you put any money down. Because in my experience with this hotel, I wouldve been more comfortable buying a tent at Walmart and pitching it in any parking lot and it wouldve still been better.

Unfortunately, I cant leave zero stars. Worst stay Ive encountered. Had to call multiple times to be able to get inside to check in only to be greeted by a rude smile less woman who made the check in process very unpleasant. Not even a hello or any sort of customer service. Room was absolutely disgusting, dirty, missing drawers to their furniture, stains everywhere, a bathroom that wasnt cleaned, no hot water, trash everywhere outside, noise all night long and the list can go on. Obviously, we didnt get one of their upgraded rooms and was just told they have a no refund policy.
