I went there after a mini stroke a year ago. The staff and therapists were all so helpful and awesome at their jobs. They worked me through my numbness and got me moving again. Side note... My cousin has also been there a few months ago after breaking her neck and partially paralyzed. They did wonders for her. She is up and walking around. THANK Y'ALL SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK IN HELPING EVERYONE GET BACK TO OUR NORMAL ROUTINES!

After an unexpected pacemaker surgery, I was out of hospital and into Health South. For 3 weeks I made terrific improvements. Staff was surprisingly compassionate and caring. You can buy competence but to get compassion is inherent. 5 stars for a wonderful and effective experience!

My wife fractured her pelvis both sides and was in rehab for 2 weeks. Service was excellent, 24/7. Still can hardly walk with a walker but this type injury takes 3/4 months. Rehab was excellent in that they showed her how to move around, change clothes, shower ,etc.. Food was very good. [ i told the kitchen staff they must have never worked in a hospital because the food was to good] Visiting hours was never an issue. I came before noon daily on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being best I would rate this place at least a 14

My mother had a stroke and has been here for Rehab the past month. Honestly we have not even seen the slightest bit of improvement. She still is not able to walk on her own or use her left leg or left arm. Interesting is that she is being discharged this Friday. I'm thinking it's because her insurance refuses to pay for any more physical therapy but we don't know. Monday through Friday visitation is for 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. which is understandable because the patients are doing their physical therapy during the day. What is really annoying is that Saturday and Sunday the visitations are only from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. none of the patients have physical therapy on Saturday so I'm not understanding why they don't have morning visits. Visitation is already so limited during the weekday that on the weekends we should be allowed to see our loved ones early in the morning if we choose to. The staff here is never very helpful and every time I go in to visit or call my mother she has a complaint about not getting the help she needs. She is literally confined to her bed unable to go to the bathroom by herself and has told me she has had to sit for over 30 minutes waiting on a nurse to come and help her. She has dietary restrictions which this facility is not going by. There has been one instance where I went in to see her and she told me that she had not eaten breakfast or lunch because of her dietary restrictions she could not eat. Needless to say when I got there at 4:00 p.m. I was extremely upset with these people for starving my mother all day just because they did not want to or did not care to or hear it to her diet restrictions. I definitely would not recommend this rehab right now hospital to anyone.
