Greyhound Inn

an adorable little boutique hotel in an area thats safe, secure, quiet, with lots of dining options within walking distance. The suite (the entire hotel, really) was spic n span, beautifully decorated with high ceilings and the cutest tiled bathroom Ive ever seen with a big soaking tub and a glass-walled shower and gorgeous-smelling LOccitane bath products provided. Safety: Gated parking right next to the suite, all entrances locked & secure. Very, very safe & secure. Walkability: Very walkable area with lots of dining options

The room was great. I saw online some of the rooms had a den area with a couch. My room did not, which was a let down. The shower was really nice but the water would get a little out of control on the rest of the bathroom floor. Ultimately, it was a tad overpriced ($323). But we went for the total eclipse so maybe the prices were high for that? I probably would not stay there again if Im ever in Tyler, strictly because of the price.

We had a great time at the Greyhound. It was quiet, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Not having a concierge on site took some getting used to, but the staff gave us a number to text and call and they were very responsive to our questions and requests. Walkability: The hotel was located a block off of the main town square and it was really easy to walk around and explore. There are several restaurants, coffee shops and shopping nearby. I also was able to walk out of the front door and go running in the mornings as the neighborhoods around were safe and easy access. Great downtown location!

Great location! Quiet area and easy walk to the town square. Rooms were very nostalgic. Very comfortable bed. Will be back!

Very cool hotel- newly renovated with very modern furnishings. They were very responsive to our needs. Rooms: The bed was super comfy and soft. Very clean and modern. Nearby activities: Very close to historic old buildings and the town square. Walkability: Lots of restaurants and other attractions within easy walking distance.
