The Leadership Academy

Great Montessori school. Proper facilities and very nice and capable staff.

If I could give this school zero stars, I would. My stepdaughter attended The Leadership Academy this year and in just one semester my stepdaughter has been choked twice (she came home saying she almost saw heaven while she was being choked), has been punched in the face to where her nose bled, has had her hair cut to the scalp. She was in a classroom of less than 20 kids with 2 guides in the room. There is absolutely no reason these things should be happening so much in such a small ratio of kids to teachers. When we brought it up to the school that this is now a safety issue for my stepdaughter we were told that they dont believe in bad kids and would not be removing her or the child who was doing these things to her. We have pulled her from this joke of a school. Take your kids somewhere else with actual licensed teachers and not guides.
