        went camping during the fall and loved it! the rangers were all nice and helpful, the trails were very well maintained and everything was so beautiful! definitely a good park for hiking and camping

        Nice quiet park. We enjoyed hiking trails and Buffalo wallow pond full of turtles. Saw the historic CCC tower. Rode our bicycle around the park. Lake Abilene was pretty dry though. Staff says the swimming pool won't open this year at all Restrooms: Restroom and showers were clean and the water was hot
