Do not place your loved one here. I was told they would put a safety plan in place so my uncle would not fall again after falling twice before out of the bed. I never received a call and he fell again and was told he had a small bump on his head. The whole day passes before finding out he is now in the ER and never got a call that he was. When I get to hospital come to find out he has a gash and received stitches. The next day he is not himself and we decide to get him to a hospital again and remove home from there. I could go on about other things but to keep simple my one word to describe the care is neglectful.

I am very disappointed in the care for my grandmother. She was recently sent home and they lied to us about how she is doing. They said she was fine and she was not! In a lot of pain. A ton of her clothes, make up, phone, even her phonebook were missing! They never called my mom to update her, she always had to call them to get updates. I guess if you are dying the care goes down!

My grandmother was there for 2 weeks. During this time there was little to no communication from the facility with our family. We were unable to visit due to Covid but were told she was "fine" the few times that we actually got to speak with someone. She has dementia so was unable to call us. When she returned home she is COVERED in bed sores on her lower  half. The day before she was released on the phone conference we were told she had no open wounds. She was also sent home in someone else's clothing and the bag they sent home did not contain any of her things. I would NEVER send anyone I love back to this place. We have been calling for over a week now trying to track down her belongings and no one will return a call.

I visited Grace Care Center at Northpointe last week as part of my search for the right SNF to place my mom after she had her second stroke. As soon as I walked in I was hit with a terrible odor. It smelled like a mix of urine, days-old soiled diaper, unclean carpet and who knows what else. The facility is nice but I just couldnt get past the smell. Ive walked through several SNFs in search of the right one but the smell put this one on my No list right off the bat. Wether the smell comes from inadequate care of their patients or from the carpet/building needing cleaning, it absolutely should be a cause for concern and addressed by management.
